About Us
Kidactive was launched in 2006, as a committed mother of four children struggling to find holiday and term time activities for my children, decided to start up my own company where a great variety of activities could be found under one the umbrella. We love being able to provides “instructor-based” holiday activities where children can learn new skills and techniques. Being able to see the enjoyment and hear the positive feedback from children, parents and instructors alike, makes all the hard work worthwhile.
After two years running we felt it was time to update our look with two beautifully sign written cars courtesy of Kia Motors, new look Instructor T-shirts sponsored by Lotto sportswear and our change of brochure format to a 24 page booklet. This extra space has allowed us to add a range of new and exciting courses from Ice Hockey to Mad Science and to promote our newly formed concept of Kidactive parties.
Alongside these exciting new changes we’d like to take this opportunity to introduce you to something very close to our hearts; our Kidactive charity Catwalk. For two years now you and your community have opened your schools and community centres to us and we’d like this opportunity to return the favour. Catwalk’s founder Catriona Williams knows better than any of us how precious our ability to lead active and physical lives is. Once one of New Zealand’s leading equestrian riders, Catriona suffered accident in 2002 and has been confined to a wheelchair ever since. Catwalk is an organization working to find a cure for Spinal Cord Injuries with the dream of one day getting people like herself out of wheelchairs and walking again. To do our bit we are going to donate a dollar a booking and offer you the chance on our website, enrolment form and telephone bookings to offer the same.
